The people who come here are often going through something hard. We keep as little as we can, and we say plainly what that is.

What we keep

The answers you type into our forms, saved as you type so nothing is lost if you stop. We do not ask for your name or email. What you write in the "tell us what you need" form is deleted after 30 days; only the choices you tapped (which letter, when, and whether an AI interview would help) are kept, without your words, so we can count what people need.

How the site is used: which pages are opened, what is clicked, how far a page is read and for how long, and the country a visit comes from. This helps us understand whether what we are building actually helps.

When you write a eulogy with the AI

The interviewer is an AI. To ask good questions and write your draft, your answers are sent to an AI model (Anthropic's Claude, reached through a service called OpenRouter). Every request asks OpenRouter to use only providers that don't keep your words or train models on them.

We keep your answers, the notes the AI made, and your letter on our server so you can take a break and come back. Your browser keeps a random code, and anything you've typed but not yet sent, on this device; there is no account. Everything is deleted when you tap Delete my answers, or automatically after 7 days (except an anonymous Yes / A little / Not really, if you rated the letter). Our nightly backups may hold a copy for up to 14 more days, then those are gone too.

If you rate the letter, we keep only your choice (Yes, A little, Not really) and the reasons you tapped, never your words.

If you speak your answers, the recording is sent to us and to the same AI service only to turn it into text, then it is gone: we never store or keep your voice. Questions read aloud are made the same way: the question's text is sent to that service to make the audio, and nothing is kept. You always see your words before you send them.

Your keepsake (the designed page and the picture) is made on your device. If you add a photo, it is cropped and drawn there and never sent to us. The feeling you chose and the design the AI suggested are kept with your letter and deleted with it.

What we do not keep

No cookies, no advertising trackers, and no IP addresses. Visits are counted with a code that changes every day and cannot be traced back to you.

Your answers

We never sell what you write. We share it only with the AI service above, and only to write your letter. If you would like something you wrote deleted, or have any question, write to ajaybechara1@gmail.com and we will help.
